God destroys Saints Home

You would think after the thousands of prayers, miracle cures, celestial bureaucracy, and ghoulish investigations into the life of Mary MacKillop that God would be pleased with his new Saint.  Not so.

Mary must have done something to piss the big fella off because he has sent an tornado to destroy her place of birth.  God’s track record with storms, tempests, floods, and hurricanes has recently been less than perfect and he only managed some “battering and bruising” rather than the wholesale destruction we are accustomed to from the Old Testament.  God certainly peaked too early and is now off his game.

However, his timing could not have been better  - the destruction occurs the day before numerous church officials were due to attend a meeting in the historic building to prepare Mary’s final canonisation ceremony.

I think it’s a sign.
